Marketing is always changing, according to big time marketer Gary V. marketing has been constantly changing since the first caveman starting putting ads for clubs on cave walls.
Over the years martial arts school owners have been following the latest trends. It started “back in the day” with yellow pages, newspaper ads and postcards. Moved to TV and radio ads, there was even a program that dialed everybody’s phone in your community!
Then came the two big game changers, the internet and websites.
Websites, and building websites became big business. Lots of companies became very successful building websites in many, many different niches; think restaurants, yoga, hair salons, and of course martial arts schools.
But all things change, some slowly and some with blinding speed. Although websites can still be effective and produce a positive ROI, marketers are moving more and more toward marketing with what is called “landing pages” or “sales funnels” .
Simply put they are mini-websites that easily changeable by the owners., and built for a specific reason, and once built the owners of the page drive traffic to them, usually through Facebook ads.
And to make things real interesting, new software is available which allows school owners more control over their brand and image, which means they are no longer under the control of websites that they may be renting.
it was these changes which inspired Canadian Dan Morel to seek out martial artist and Dojo Nation Times Editor Randy Reid to discuss if this program would work for school owners.
Randy Reid mentioned to Dan that although the software was off-the-charts impressive, most school owners were going to need a helping hand to get up and running.
“In talking with Randy Reid he was very excited about the benefits for schools owners, the marketing they could do with this, but suggested we put together a support system for the school owners, that’s were Dojo Funnels was born” said Dan Morel.
The bottom line? This is a tremendous program they may just change the face of martial arts marketing forever.
